Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 450 grams starchy potatoes
  • 35 grams (2.5 tbsp) butter melted
  • 20 grams parmesan finely grated
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tps oregano
  • 2 tps garlic powder
  • 1/2 tps ground black pepper
  • 1 tps salt

Dipping Sauce

  • 45 grams (3tbsp) mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Korean barbecue sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup

Instructions

For the potatoes

  • Start by washing them really well as we're going to leave the skin on. Then cut them into wedges and place them in a bowl big enough to allow you to toss them in.
  • Next up, melt the butter and preheat your oven at 200°C / 400°F convection
  • Combine all the spices in a bowl and toss them together with the potatoes then grate the parmesan in and add the melted butter to coat them.
  • Place a silicon mat or baking paper in a pan and put all the wedges facing up and with enough space around them so that the pan isn't over crowded. Place the pan in the middle rack of the preheated oven and set your timer for 30 minutes. In the meantime you can start preparing the dipping sauce

Dipping sauce

  • Just mix together all the ingredients and you're done!

You’ve got to try these, it’s the easiest crispy oven baked potato fries you’ll ever cook Or are they wedges? Not sure but calling them oven baked potato fries sounds a bit more natural to me. But what I’m sure about is that these are healthier as they use less oil and because they are oven baked. Also super easy to make as it takes about 10-15 minutes of prep time, which leaves you enough time to do a sauce or a main course piece of meat or even some burgers!

As far as the sauce goes you can try different things and do keep in mind to not do as I did by adding water, it should be thick enough to hold on to the surface of the fries as you dip them in.

Goes well topped with pulled pork
